Replacement for fridge
It is just like the original which broke one day because the filter was hard to remove and I got frustrated and grabbed the channel locks and got the damned thing out of there.

Good it covers an eyesore for me!!!
My husband broke the original one taking out a filter and I didn't like how it looked without the cover and I was ordering new filters from Amazon and there it was right on the same page!!!! I just love Amazon!!!!!!!

As stated
This housing works fine so far, I hope it holds up. No reason to think it won't but it is plastic after all and those filters can be difficult to get out sometimes. For the price these caps should last a life time. My original only lasted a few years when it only got used twice a year.

Hoover 40130050 Allergen Cartridge Filter

Not exactly a fit...
The part I received is not the same as the picture, but an off brand, so beware what people may be sending you. I ordered this product on Amazon after finding that all of the local stores like Target, Walmart, Shopko, etc no longer carried replacement filters for our vac. The filter seems to work okay, but it is not exactly the same quality or type of plastic as the previous genuine hoover filters I used in the past. It was difficult to get on the top mount, but went on with what seemed an excessive amount of force followed by a snapping sound that is usually associated with breaking plastic. Everything seemed solid and it works though, and I could find no cracks in the vacuum part.

Not an official Hoover part. I got a knock-off brand!
The product name says Hoover and the picture is an official Hoover product, but I received a third party replacement part. This is false advertising. I am returning it. Shame on Amazon for doing this. Change the picture to the product you are shipping.

I received the replacement which is indeed a genuine Hoover filter. I didn't have to pay any additional shipping either. The situation has been resolved to my satisfaction. I would also like to reflect on that GoVaccum has acted professionally and have been willing and done everything they could to remedy the situation.

The rating does stay at 3 stars though, as the review is as much about the overall shopping experience as it is about the product itself.

Received an email from GoVaccuum on this issue. Per them, it's not their fault but Amazon's fault as the order was fulfilled by Amazon. Nevertheless, they have offerred to remedy the situation by sending a genuine Hoover filter. It was recently shipped so I haven't received it yet. Will post a follow-up once I receive the Genuine filter. So far, GoVaccuum has been willing and acting to remedy the situation. So I am changing my rating from 1 star to 3 star. I will review...

Bissell Twist'n Snap 14' Attachment Hose

Good Replacement
I received the hose after only a few days and replaced the origional broken hose. The new hose attached exactly as it was supposed to but when I stowed it on the vacuum for storage it was noticably looser than the origional. It doesn't fall off of the hooks but is more easily knocked off. The hose may be loose when stowed because it also seems the hose will stretch slightly further than the origional and is also more flexible which is a plus!

Great replacement hose
My old hose got dented and then the hose would close shut when you turn on the vacuum. Got this replacement, it fits and works great. It's just a tad longer than the old hose, but that helps me out because I use the vacuum on my car in the driveway to get rid of the dog hair embedded in the seats. So glad there was a replacement hose available because if I didn't have this vacuum, I'd never have a dog.

Maytag Refrigerator Icemaker Ice Maker & Water Valve 61005273

Not a good OEM replacement
Bought this to replace the valve on an older Magic Chef RB193TM model refrigerator. In order to make it work, I would have had to get a new longer water line running to the ice maker, plus the mounting bracket only had one screw hole whereas my old valve was held by two screws. Just not a good original replacement fit. To add insult to injury, I paid to return it, and was docked the original shipping fee, a double whammy.

Exact replacement that works great!
The ice maker water valve was exactly as described and is working perfectly. It is the same OEM part sold elsewhere for at least twice the price.

Exactly what it is...
I got this after reversing the door on my dryer and I couldn't be happier. (Well, if the dryer just came with the parts, that would be great.)

Cotton Candy Machine Floss Bubble Shield

must have
I run my cotton candy machine outdoors and this bubble shield is a must have. not only does it help keep the cotton candy from flying out, and keeps bugs from flying in, but the best ting is it keeps kids from reaching in the machine, kids love to stand around and watch cotton candy being made. I view this product as a safety feature with out it I would lose my mind worried about a kid putting there hand in the machine.

A Must Have if you like your room
I cannot imagine why the machine could be sold without the shield? That said, if you have a cotton candy machine, you need this item even if you don't need the expense. As a cotton candy amateur, I really thought I may be wasting money. Then I put the floss in the machine and quickly realized that it would have been in my hair, on the ceiling, on the walls, etc. It really helps shape the "cone" of cotton candy and make for a fun event with far less mess.

Honeywell HC-835 Replacement Filter for Robitussin and Vicks Cool Moisture Humidifiers

Bad Idea
I got the filter for the humidifier I also just bought. Upon placing the filter in and turning the unit on, a strong odor filled the room. I had to open the windows to air the room out because I didn't think inhaling the smell was a good idea. Being that it was for my bird's room, I feel sure that it would result in him getting sick or worse. I believe the problem lies in the Protec antimicrobial treatment. I would never have bought it had I known about this.

Works great
We have bad water that can turn these filters into nasty colors quickly, but it seems to me that means its doing its job. We have gone through over 20 of these in our baby's room over the last couple years and have not experienced any of the odor issues mentioned in the prior review.

Not sure if it was the right product
I wished there was a description of what the product was made from, for example this product is plastic. What came with the orginal humidifer was made out of paper.

Mini Dehumidifier

Great Little Dehumidifier!!!!
I have two of these one in my spice cabinet and the other in my jewelry drawer. Keeps everything nice and dry with no batteries. I just plug it in to dry out when the indicator shows that it's full of moisture.

worked once
I read reviews that loved & hated this product. For about $20 I decided to give it a try because I was tired of having to refill & have buckets of damp-rid eveywhere.
I was a little suspicious because I couldn't figure out where the moisture woud go once it was absorbed.

I put this behind my books in a bookshelf. After a few weeks when I went to refill the damprid bucket on th floor near the bookshelf I saw that the colors had changed. So I followed the instructions to plug it in. The "color crystals" had turned back.

But months later (and several damp-rid bucket refills in the same room), the "rocks" haven't changed color again.

I don't think I'd get another one.

We bought a big regular dehumidifiier that we run in the basement, and a few damp-rid buckets discreetly tucked around the living room & bedrooms will have to suffice.

Great for small spaces
I have an old car that tends to get a lot of moisture in the trunk. I used to leave the trunk open in the garage with a fan on to dry it out, but since I moved and have to park outside now, I purchased this item. I leave it in the trunk, and every few weeks take it out, plug it in, and reuse it. It's keeping the trunk pretty dry and keeping me from having to buy a new car! I highly recommend this item for small spaces.

Buffalo Tools BBQDC Double Beer Can Chicken Cooker

It Does The Job and Does It Very WEll !!!
This is a great item, very solid, well made and strong. We have been cooking two chickens at a time, with four ears on corn on one side and four potatoes on the other side. Using two charcoal fires, one at each end of the grill. The heat stays at about 300 degrees and in two hours everything is perfectly cooked! The can holders are the perfect size and work extremely well.

two chickens are better than one
this is a heavy duty well made beer can chicken/potato/corn cooking rack. this rack seems to welded good and is easy to clean but be very careful the part that holds the potatoes/corn are VERY sharp. there are plastic protectors over the points for safety that can be removed and should be removed before placing rack in the oven/smoker/grill because they will melt. the part that holds the cans works great the chickens stay standing upright. this rack works very well and was worth what I payed for it.

Beer Bum Chicken at it's Best
We love this. No, really. We love it. It's so much easier than how we used to prop up the chicken during cooking and hope we didn't bump the grill and knock it over. We probably use this once a week.

It fits two regular sized full chickens perfectly with the can underneath. It's 100% stable. It's easy to remove the chickens from the cooker as well, leaving the can behind so it can cool before being thrown away.

We've used the metal skewers on the side for potato or veggies and it's great to have it all cook in one place at one time.

Can't recommend this one enough if you are looking to make beer bum chicken cooking easier.

Rubbermaid Commercial Sweeper - 7-1/2"

DOES THE JOB!
I purchased this sweeper for a specific reason: to clean my indoor/outdoor rugs and my house rugs like runners and area rugs. It is designed for low carpet and it works well for these rugs. I am surprised as to how much the dirt container holds. I have purchased several other brands of cordless electric brooms and sweepers to use for these rugs and they never picked up as well as the Rubbermaid Commercial Sweeper picks up. The part I like the best is that I don't have to charge it to use it.

I did research before I purchased this sweeper and I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Sweeper has met my expectations.
We have two cats and were always needing to get the vac out to clean up cat hair. The sweeper is easy and convient to usel. Very happy with the purchase.

1/20/06 First reviewed: I received this as a gift and had about twenty wonderful cups of moka from this cute little electric machine, but then one day in the third week of ownership, steam went a'flyin outside of the moka maker instead of into the top chamber. I called customer service and was given a run-around, ugh. I was told that without a receipt I could buy the replacement unit for around $40 plus shipping. She said that most of their products have a 30 or 60 day warranty, which surprised me greatly. Since I'd owned the product for less than 30 days, I figured I was still in the warranty time any way one looked at it, but I was wrong. With no receipt, no exchange from DeLonghi. Well, I tried to use the unit after really tightening the top and bottom together and the escaping steam abated. The next week, the shut off valve on the heating unit started making a terrible noise and the unit wouldn't even start. It would be triggered within a few seconds to shut off, so I had...

It has a big flaw, but I love it anyway
I'm on my 2nd Electric Moka machine. The first one died when the plastic piece on top cracked near the handle and it began to leak. I realize now that it cracked from tightening the top piece by rotating the plastic handle rather than grabbing the metal mid-section. I also realize that I began tightening it extra tight when the rubber washer inside started to wear out. So that's the deal. Replace the washer when it gets ragged and don't screw the pot together with the plastic handle. Do these two things and the machine will last ages. BTW, it makes FANTASTIC espresso, is easy to clean, is compact and very cute. I love it!!!

Effective, compact
What I initially liked about this machine is the fact that I could use it off the stovetop and it really is not a counter hog--I bought it for my office, actually. I was surprised at how piping hot the coffee can get in it. All in all, it works well. Realize, too, this moka brew is definately a step down in flavor from traditionally brewed espresso (from a pump-driven machine). I recommend it.

This is a great little unit and well worth the money!
Although the unit did not come with a pre-filter as shown, I contacted the seller and was told the owners manual is out of date and the unit does not come with a pre-filter. I really don't see the necessity for a pre-filter and the back cover acts as one anyway and will help keep hair, etc from getting in the unit. The spare fuse is located in the fuse holder. For the money it has all the features: a TRUE HEPA filter for dust, skin cells, dust mites and other small particles; a charcoal/carbon filter for odors; a UV light that works with the Photocatalyst filter to kill virus and bacteria; Ionization to clean the air and an adjustable ozone (to "Shock" the air and clean it) that has a higher output than others in it's price range. Detailed Review - Amazing Result in only 5 minutes!
Just received the air cleaner shipment and the package was boxed and packed very well. Unboxing and verifying all parts resulted in finding no broken parts or damage. I rearranged the filters so that the carbon filter came before the Hepa filter so that I can prolong the Hepa Filter life and complete less cleaning for the Hepa filter. If I ever get the carbon filter so dirty that I need a new one...I will go buy a cut to size carbon filter replacement at a local store and cut it to size. Much cheaper to replace a carbon than a Hepa. Side note - this HEPA filter is washable, so you shouldn't have to ever replace it. The cleaner DOES NOT have ceramic plates for generating the ozone. Repeat..DOES NOT have ceramic plates. The ozone is generated by an already installed ozone strip inside the machine held in with two screws....so my research tells me and in observing the strip light up internally when I flip the switch for Ozone to the on position. As long as it holds up, this is one of the best ozinators I have ever had. I will up date later. It has 3 wonderful filters, a germicide light and a great ozinator! No plates! Yeah. Easy to take apart and clean. The other ozinators broke iwithin a few weeks and stopped functioning.

Super Popper!
This is a great little machine. The only drawback is that you have to be able to read and follow the instructions. We forgot how good popcorn could taste. We had been using one of those microwave bowls to make popcorn. When our microwave crapped out we bought a new one, and for some reason the bowl didn't make good corn anymore. GE Spacemaker II 1.0 Cu. Ft. Microwave Oven - JEM25DMWW

GE Warranty is Worthless
I finally had to replace my GE Spacemaker microwave after over ten years of good service. The replacement lasted only about two months before it stopped working. I read the instruction booklet and verified that it was fully warranted for both parts and service. But the warranty repair or replacement is free of cost only if you bring it in to a GE service center. When I called GE they told me they don't have any service centers, but they could send a service rep out to my house for a $100 charge. What kind of warranty is that?

Fortunately I bought it from Amazon and they very politely offered to take it back, without shipping charges. I told them I had already thrown out the box and packing materials. They expedited delivery of a new one so I'd have the new box to return the defective one in. Not only that, I was able to save a few dollars since they refunded the full purchase price of $230 and the price had since been reduced to $205. Now that's what I call customer...

Dementions
Product Dimensions: 25.4 x 29.9 x 46.9 inches ; 29 pounds. This needs to be updated. Certainly this microwave is not four feet.

One that fits!
The main reason for buying this was just that we couldn't find a big enough microwave that was also squat enough. This one fit the bill and is an overall good microwave. No complaints.

Water Sentinel WSG-1-4P Replacement Filters, 4-PACK

The filters are an exact replacement for GE MWF water filters. They fit my GE fridge without problem and actually last twice as long as the much more expensive GE or Brita filters. Very satisfied with these for 2.5 years now. Highly recommend.

deepdiscountsco does NOT package at all securely. mine came in a too-small plastic envelope marked "RECEIVED UNSEALED"by USPS. It was NOTpackaged as "4", all were crushed. 2 of them were NOT sealed as "STERILE" which is the way they are sent from the manufacturer. those 2 were damp and sticky with pink stuff as if used and returned to deepdiscountsco! The filters are excellent when packaged form the manufacturer sealed by law to be sterile. I did not choose deepdiscountsco but was the 1st one on the list of amazon's sellers.

Waring 028372 Cord

Works, but needs a better magnet
This cord works with my Waring fryer model. The connection seems very light, however. The cord pops off a lot easier than the OEM cord that I misplaced. It seems like the magnet that holds the cord in place and is designed to snap off when tugged is of lesser quality than the magnet in the OEM version. But it's workable, so I give it 3 stars.

This was bought to replace the original one after we misplaced it. I could not see any difference from the original one.

WORKS.
I found the fryer for this cord for an amazing price at Goodwill, but alas, the cord was missing! I feel a bit stupid buying a cord for the same price I spent on the fryer, but it works, so I'm glad I have it.
This cord is stupidly short, though. Unless you have an outlet within less than a foot of your device, expect to have to use a multi-outlet strip or extension cord just to power your device. It's held in place with a magnet (safety feature), so you can't use the cord without leaving slack in it.

Refrigerator Water Filters
Well, who would guess that these would be excessive. Our filtered water through the door on our GE Profile Side-by-Side stopped working and could not be fixed. Plus other problems with this unit. So, we have water filters that we will not be able to use since moving this unit into the garage where there is no water supply. The filters work OK but now we have unused units.

We shattered our original glass tray and needed to find a replacement. We selected this one because it was the least expensive. So far it has worked flawlessly!

Its round!
I know this is OEM, but I hope it lasts longer than the original turntable that came with the microwave. I think a mix of microwave and convection shattered that one. Will avoid using with convection from now on... it probably states somewhere in the manual not to use it with convecion, but who reads instructons.

Emerson Electric Wine Bottle Opener - Black

What a pleasant surprise
I thought I owned the best wine bottle opener in the world in my little double screw wooden gem I also own of those gas powered wine openers. It works well but taking the cork off can be a mean trick. Plus the loud "pop" sounds like a bottle of champagne. Then I received this electric wine opener as a gift. The only reason I kept it was because I have one of the Wine Saver bottle sealers and they looked a lot alike. I put it on the shelf and did not ever plan to use it. I mean, it was just a corkscrew in a tube. I had as friend over on Valentine's Day and she wanted to see it work. W O W! It was the slickest thing i EVER USED. I mean, it not only took the cork out with a minimum of noise, but it extracted the rock with another push of the button. No loud POOP like the gas unit, and no cork in the bottle. (I know because I opened several of wine just to see it fail. It never did. I have now ordered my customary spare because this one will get a lot of use.

Takes Getting Used to....
Got the unit right away, and pleased to see a roll of bags in the package as well as some sandwich-sized singles already sealed on one end. I fired it right up after reading the instructions (which I didn't quite understand as I found out later). I snipped some of the big roll off and attempted to make a closed seal on one end of the tube-like bag. I thought the instructions said (and they did verbatem) to open the locks after 10 seconds. I counted to 10 seconds and popped the latches to find it hadn't sealed in the center. Tried again and held the center down hard for 10 seconds - same result. I misunderstood what they were trying to say was to wait 10 seconds after the heating lamp went out, NOT 10 seconds after the vacuum stops. It really seems so simple now, but I am a stickler for following directions precisely as written. I went through this long explanation because if I hadn't found out how it was supposed to work BY ACCIDENT (my Wife distracted me and I left the last...

I used it for the first time on Nov.2, 2013 it sealed about 3 packs of meats then quit working not happy at all threw it away.

Open Country Dehydrator Gardenmaster Digital 1000 4-Tray

Brains over beauty
A lot of research went into choosing this dehydrator. While I like the look better of some of the square, black models on the market, the functionality of this machine won out. I liked that the heating element is on top, so if there are any drippings I don't have to worry about it leaking into the motor. There is a fan that evenly distributes the heat to make it faster and more efficient. It is also extremely easy to clean. All of the layer come apart and can simply be wiped down. The thermostat and timing features are easy to operate and read and it comes with a great instruction manual that helps you determine the heat and time setting of a wide variety of foods. Finally, I liked that additional trays can be purchased and up to 20 trays used at a time. I purchase large quantities of fruit when it is in season, and can now process it quickly. Whirlpool 2200859 Thermostat for Refrigerator

Great price and works as expected
The local parts dealer here (Irvine, CA) wanted about $80 for the same part. Had to wait a few extra days as only UPS ground was available, but it was simple to replace (note there is no documentation of any kind included) and fixed the problem. Old thermostat was intermittent - fridge would run fine for awhile, then not run for several hours; had to manually fiddle with the cold control to get it to run again. The only reason I didn't rate this as five stars was it seems to have a very narrow temperature range. Instead of cycling on or off every half-hour or so, it now cycles about every 10 minutes. The internal temperature is probably more stable, but I don't know if this will cause the compressor start components to wear out sooner.

Works great for my purpose
I do NOT use these as intended by the manufacturer. I use these as a waterproof lining in my backpack for hiking. I open it up, put it in my pack, and then start filling my pack. It doesn't tear, its far larger than the interior of the pack so you get full coverage, and it keeps everything inside dry. A+++ for this use.

Amana Freezer Door Gasket 12550116Q

Easy Peasy to install
Fit perfect and saved a bunch of money by installing it myself.
Put this item in some pretty hot water for a bit before installing. Had a hair dryer handy to rewarm it during install and for working out the creases and malformations after install.
I found some instructions on line that stated to removed the food from the door (leaving door attached to fridge) and just loosen all the factory screws about half way. Slide the old gasket out, slide the new one in. Worked like a champ. Tightened the screws back down, heated up some areas with the hair dryer, close the door, let it sit a bit to let the cool temperature "set" the gasket, rinse and repeat for problem areas.

Fit fine with a little work
THis was just as advertised but would have been nice with some instructions to help it seal better. I got it to seal but had to go on the internet to find out how.

Other than that this was fine.

Not what I ordered
Based on the OEM part number, they sent me the wrong part. I had to return the merchandise. Ended up being stuck for the freight.

I was never entirely happy with my German- made Rowenta which had a water retention problem. It was so bad that on the higher steam settings my clothes would get soaked on a regular basis, and when it started to stain my white clothes I just looked for an upgrade.

Two new Singer models advertised an anti- drip mechanism; this one and the Expert Finish. According to Singer's website, the models are similar except for the LCD and more temperature levels on the Expert Finish. I'm from the "keep it simple" school of thought, so I forewent the wizardry and picked this version.

Steamed!
This is the BEST iron I've ever used, and I've gone through lots of irons - at least 2 per year. I iron every day everything I own. The Singer Perfect Finish 1700 Watt Steam Iron is simple to use and doesn't drip water all over my clothing. I have not had any issues with finding the correct temperature to iron each piece of clothing. I love the audible signal that tells me when the temperature level has been obtained.

Not all that is cracked up to be......
I first received this iron about 4-5 months ago and like most people, I was really happy with the results when I first started using it. About 3 months ago, I cleaned the iron for the first time and everything went fine. Well, this month (April), I cleaned it again. Well, sad to say that the iron starting acting crazy. It kept beeping and shutting off and then it starting dripping water from the holes and at the bottom. When I set the temperature to the max setting, it would flash for awhile and then go back down to the first setting. Then it would leave the first setting and then go to the second setting and up to the third setting and then it would shut itself off. After awhile, it would not come on at all. So now I am stuck with an iron that will not work.

So buyer beware of this iron. I have read all of the reviews in regards to this iron and everyone has given it 5 stars. Well, unfortunately, I have to give it a 1 star because it has not been a full year and the iron...

I have an earlier version of this Kitchen Aid hand mixer, which was purchased in 1994 and still works but I had been thinking about replacing it with a newer one. After reading some of the other reviews, I was a little skeptical about purchasing this model. When it arrived I compared it with my older one and thought this new one seems lighter and wondered if it would be as good. On Thanksgiving Day, I gave it a good workout mixing up 5lbs of potatoes to mash -- I was very impressed with how well it did the job. For me, I think I made the right choice to purchase this hand mixer.

I have the larger Kitchen Aid mixer, but found that I needed a hand mixer as well. Being very satisfied with my larger Kitchen Aid, I looked at the Kitchen Aid hand mixers. I received it just in time for my holiday cooking. I liked the digital dial for the speeds and the ease of the beater release. It is very light weight and easy to hold. It also came with a liquid beater for drinks. I have used it alot already and I am very satisfied. I would recommend to everyone.

It would seem that KitchenAid has joined the long list of iconic American manufacturers who can no longer be trusted to produce a quality product. I had always considered KA to be a "quality" brand, I've owned a K5S "Stand" mixer for about 20 years (and most of the available attachments) and it performs perfectly to this day. About 8 years ago I got a KA 5 speed hand mixer for lighter work and from day one I was extremely disappointed by the lack of power. My complaints were heard and this past holiday season, my daughter gave me a new KA 7 speed digital hand mixer. I had high hopes, but that first one wouldn't let me insert the beaters, so I returned it for another. The second one wouldn't even turn on. Central Air A-C DraftShields® 12"x12" Cover

Great product, expensive for what it is, but works perfect.
I had been using self made covers over the AC vents in the past. They were a pain to put up, and take down and looked really bad. These not only look nice, they are almost invisable. They are well made and should last for years. Also they were easy to install and easy to take down and store for the summer. I highly recommend them, even at the inflated price.

Vitapur VWD5446BLS Full Size Water Dispenser

Can not recommend this cooler/heater
We've had this Vitapur cooler/heater for approximately 1.5 years. And I have had to replace the main circuit board once. My time +$25(Can) for a replacement board. This because we could not find our purchase receipt(we purchased at a local bricks&mortar). The circuit board was full of corrosion.
This past summer the heater stopped working. (the connection to the element appears to be corroded and was making poor contact and now the contact is completely burned off).
The final straw is that the cooler stays on and freezes the water in the reservoir to a solid block of ice.
I would leave the whole thing on the curve tonight for garbage pickup but it's got freon in it so I have to take it to the local hazardous waste disposal.
It is a shame the design & build quality is so poor, the machine is attractive looking and was exactly what we were looking for.

Stay away....really!
To bad you can't rate this with minus 5 stars...had to give it a (1)star. Purchased a Vitapur water dispenser a few weeks ago. Like other reviewers stated, their patiented "hot" water system, and I use the term 'hot' loosely, will only provide a cup of hot water in about 3 minutes. It is not a constant hot water dispenser like others I had, and the cold water even on max is not much over room temperature, and again not much over a cup at a time without having the machine re-chill. It has no on/off switches, and the water jug piercing spindle for standard water jugs is longer than most, with holes only on the top of the spindle so even though the water jug is empty the cap "well" is left with water standing that needs to be removed with a towel because if you place a new water jug in, when it seats, water splashes up and over the sides and surroundings. It may be stylish, but no where near fuunctional if your looking to have instant hot water and cold water like conventional...

Great batter donuts
I like to make donuts but making yeast donuts is a lot of work. I always thought batter donuts wouldn't taste as good until I tried apple cider donuts and they are now my favorite type of donut. If you want to make a whole bunch of donuts faster than what it would take to make yeast style, this is a good device. If you plan on making thousands of donuts, this is not the device. There was some learning on the get go to keep from making a mess all the time. If you use a spout to pour in the batter to the hopper with, no mess (don't use a spoon or ladle -- big mess). If you make donuts all the time, maybe get a more reliable product. But for the occasional donut maker (like myself), this is a great product.

BonJour Mini Frother, Silver

Not just for coffee
I bought this frother, along with the white as a gift because I have one and use it all the time. They are amazing and a great investment for $10. Not only does this frother work great for coffee, but it is very handy for other things. I make my kids instant breakfast drinks in the morning using a powdered mix along with a protein powder. Rather than dragging out my blender, I just stir the drink with my frother. It has no problem mixing everything completely and the kids like the "froth". I've also used it to "destroy" some flour lumps in gravy when I didn't get it mixed in completely. It whips eggs for scrambled eggs. Granted, it's not high powered enough for some jobs, but overall, this frother is one of the best $10 gadgets I have ever bought. At this point, I'd be lost in the morning without it!!

Great Bang for Buck
I agonized over whether to buy this or one of the more expensive milk frothers or coffee makers. Some fancy models go for hundreds even thousands of dollars. I figured for $10, I would try this little guy first. I am on week 2. I don't know how long it will hold up, but so far, I am thrilled. I hate the idea of spending tons to buy one of the super fancy new coffee machines. My 20 yr old Mr. Coffee actually makes decent coffee as long as I use decent beans. Let me tell ya, you take some nice fresh Peets house blend beans, you grind 'em up, you drip your coffee. Meanwhile, pour 1/3 a cup of low-fat milk in your mug. Microwave it for 35 seconds. Plunk this little frother in there and let her rip. Keep the frother positioned at the border between the liquid milk and the building froth, so that it can keep getting air. Tilt the cup to and fro as you froth. You will not be disappointed! I can get the whole cup full of froth if I want. And, trust me, the result is 100% coffee house! Yay!

Can't go wrong for the price
Have had this for more than a year, use every day, still working great and still on original batteries.

Tiger America 10 c. Elec Rice Cooker/Food St ( JNP-1800 )

Warm rice all the time
I have owned this type of Rice Cooker for more than 2 years. It is a little pricey compared to other rice cookers, but from my experience, it is worth it. This rice cooker cooks rice quickly (15 minutes or so) and it keep the rice warm until you are ready to eat. I had my rice stay on "warm" one time for two days without the rice turning brown and the bottom getting hard and burnt. We always have our rice cooker on "warm" so that we can have rice available 24/7. We eat rice for lunch and dinner and sometimes for breakfast too, so I always cook rice in the morning and it will last us until dinner. If we have left over rice for dinner, it will still stay warm and fluffy the next day.

I have tried several cheaper rice cookers sold in Target, they do a good job in cooking rice, but they dont keep it warm and soft... after a few hours of being on "warm" the rice turns brown and hard. These cheap rice cookers are only good for occasional rice eaters and for those who can finish...

Best Rice Cooker - Dependable - Great for the Money
Got Rice? Our family eats rice every day (2-3 times) and our last Tiger 10 cup rice cooker was a Christmas present from my parents over 10 years ago. When the non-stick got too worn out, I decided to buy a Panasonic based on decent user reviews. Well, the quality of rice that came out was not up to TIGER standard. With TIGER, you have fluffy rice that kept well for hours, not crusty/hard/crunchy. Well, after seeing this on sale, I had to buy it. Trust a life time rice eater. This is the best rice cooker for around $100 (or more) that you can buy.

Rice the way it was meant to be eaten...
I have owned this cooker for almost 17 years, yes, only one of them. And though the lid doesn't always close tightly any more, it still makes incredible rice. International friends who come to my house are always surprised, and pleased, to see the cooker. They know they will get to eat good rice. I have eaten what comes out of cheaper cookers. Buy a good one, and this is a good one. We use it one to two times a week and it has been a workhorse, 3 servings, 10 servings, it does them all. It keeps the rice warm for hours. A great investment.
